**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team as a lead 2-year-old teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childhood development. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in educating and nurturing young minds.
Contract is for August through May. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30-1:00. Extra hours available, as well as the option to work Monday through Friday.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support students' individual needs
- Incorporate special education techniques for students with diverse learning requirements
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using proven behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress
- Organize and supervise activities that promote physical education and social development
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
**Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Proven experience in teaching preschool or elementary school students
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
- Proficiency in creating and executing effective lesson plans
