Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Corporate Associate with four to seven years of experience in mergers and acquisitions to join its client's M&A Group in New York. Associates will join a dynamic team with a practice that includes representation of parties in connection with public and private company transactions and takeover defense matters (including shareholder activism) in a broad range of industries.
Candidates must have significant experience handling M&A transactions and substantial experience dealing with public companies. A good understanding of corporate law and market terms as well as effective deal management skills are crucial. Business development-oriented mindset and ability to take on high level of responsibilities and work with autonomy are key.
U.S. law firm experience and outstanding academic credentials are required. Candidates must be admitted to the NY State Bar and be in good standing. Please submit a cover letter, resume, deal sheet, and law school transcript.
The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $310,000 and a maximum of $420,000
