What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Services Senior Litigation Attorney position at Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search?
The Financial Services Practice of our client has an exciting opportunity for a senior level associate attorney with at least five years’ experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation to join the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group in New York City.
The ideal candidate will have taken on significant responsibility in the litigation of commercial disputes in federal and state court and/or arbitral forums, including drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, handling discovery and the day-to-day management of cases. Outstanding advocacy and communication skills, oral and written, are required. Experience with securities litigation, arbitration and/or or enforcement matters is encouraged. Applicants from government agencies are encouraged. To be considered, you must be a member the New York state bar.
The annualized salary range for this position in New York is $310,000 to $330,000.
