Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior-Level Financial Services Litigation Associate to join a prominent firm’s Financial Services Practice Group in New York City. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to take on significant responsibilities in high-stakes commercial and securities litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage litigation matters involving commercial disputes in federal and state courts and arbitral forums.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions, handle discovery, and oversee the day-to-day management of cases.
- Collaborate with a team on securities litigation, arbitration, and enforcement matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation.
- Significant experience in litigation, including drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, discovery, and case management.
- Outstanding oral and written advocacy and communication skills.
- Membership in the New York State Bar is required.
- Experience with government agencies or securities litigation and arbitration is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Annualized salary range: $310,000 to $330,000, based on education, training, and experience.
