Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search seeks an experienced Attorney or Senior Counsel Attorney with civil litigation expertise to join our client's dynamic office in Coral Gables, FL. This role is ideal for legal professionals with a strong background in general liability, premises liability, trucking, or maritime law.
Our client offers a hybrid work environment, blending in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote workdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil litigation cases, focusing on general liability, premises liability, trucking, and maritime matters.
- Conducted legal research, draft motions, and handled large-scale litigation tasks.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, including trial work (preferred).
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and solutions.
- Maintain compliance with current state and federal procedures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense, product liability, or trucking law.
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale motions.
- Trial experience is highly preferred.
