Our client has an immediate opening in the Coral Gables for a Legal Assistant for its community association law practice. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a group setting. Job Duties:
- Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers.
- Draft letters, meeting packages and contracts.
- Answer phone calls, take messages and redirect calls when appropriate.
- Keep cases organized by maintaining files and data management.
- Maintain regular communication with supervising attorneys.
- Keep clients informed and communicating case progress.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with a “can do” positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Must have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software, if needed. Knowledge of PerfectLaw DMS a plus.
- Must have experience with MS Office
- Must have proficiency in English
- Must have outstanding time-management and typing skills
- Must have the following: Legal Administration Skills, Client Relationships, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability, Client Confidentiality.
- Real Estate experience is a plus
- HOA/Condo experience is a plus
