The Probate Paralegal will play a key role in assisting attorneys in managing probate cases from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of probate administration, including the preparation and filing of court documents such as petitions, notices, inventories, and accountings.
- Manage case files, ensuring that all relevant information, documentation, and deadlines are properly organized and met.
- Draft and review legal documents related to probate and estate administration, including wills, trust agreements, and other estate planning documents.
- Coordinate the collection, valuation, and distribution of assets, including real property, personal property, and financial accounts.
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and government agencies as needed.
- Prepare and file required tax forms, including estate tax returns and other related documents.
- Assist with the preparation for hearings, mediations, or other probate proceedings as required.
- Ensure compliance with Florida probate law and firm procedures.
