About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development, to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the Carolinas Region. This role is ideal for a high-energy sales professional with a passion for customer relationships, team leadership, and hitting aggressive sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed the $15M quota within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, General Contractors, and decision makers in the MEP construction industry.
- Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
- Actively solicit new prospects leveraging lunch & learns, webcast and in market meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven track record in territory sales leadership with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong background in B2B sales, strategic selling, and account management.
- Experience managing large quotas ($10M preferred) with a consistent record of exceeding targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Follow Up CRM) Sales Force etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
