Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health is on a mission to revolutionize behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Our facility will provide inpatient and outpatient services and is scheduled to open in spring 2025 in Pawnee, Oklahoma!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Establish a team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.
- Supervise and support clinical staff, including counselors, therapists, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.
- Direct recruitment and retention of the facility team, including onboarding and offboarding, coaching, orientation, performance evaluations, and educational planning of counseling staff.
- Create and support a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with the company’s policies and practicing exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Operational Oversight:
- Administer overall daily operations, implement company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and all applicable governmental standards and regulations.
- Ensure team members maintain accurate and current records on each client according to the facility's procedures.
- Coordinate with oversight agencies to ensure the quality of care.
- Program Development: Develop, manage, and continuously improve the center’s programs to ensure optimal quality care.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and scheduling to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards and enforce adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Complete incident investigations and summaries for regulatory agencies, as necessary.
- Ensure client rights are enforced as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
- Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts.
- Conduct regular staff training and development sessions to ensure ongoing professional growth and adherence to best practices.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage in community events to further establish relationships and reinforce the program's commitment to the area.
- Coordinate and partner with staff from other agencies and organizations to provide the best treatment for each client.
- Partner with the Business Development team to identify and engage referral sources.
- Represent the centers at industry conferences, networking events, and community outreach programs.
- Strategic Vision and Advocacy:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our reach, increase referrals, and foster community engagement.
- Advocate for addiction awareness, reduce stigma, and promote access to quality care.
- Partner with the Board of Directors
WHO YOU ARE:
- The Executive Director must have management experience, experience in healthcare, substance use disorder or behavioral health strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution, master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience in human services
- Experience with Tribal governments is a plus
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- Strong understanding of finance and performance management principles
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Must have or, within 30 days from hire, be able to obtain First Aid and CPR card
Physical Demands
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. Evening and/or weekend work is often required. There is regular interaction with the public, other agencies, and employees. Tight time constraints and multiple demands from several and multiple demands from several people are common. Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb one flight of stairs. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
