We are seeking an Material Clerk to join our teams. The Material Clerk will perform functions in the issuance and control of stock inventory.

Essential Job Functions:
- Identifies, controls, segregates and maintains all incoming parts under strict FAA receiving and shipping regulations.
- Ensures that material is verify with invoice or packing sheet.
- Ensures shelf life of materials and load test or calibration limitations of tooling are complied with.
- Coordinates the stage parts for distribution by runners to various work orders and other departments.
- Upholds company policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Prepares and reviews all receive and prep shipments for outside sales customers.
- Ensures that all package shipments are done with proper labeling by carrier.
- Maintains familiarity with the Ascent Aviation Services Solutions Inspection Procedures Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintains communication within their area of responsibility, keeping employees informed of day-to-day operation, current performance indicators and future plans and events.
Marginal Job Functions:
- Conducts stores safety program.
- Maintains and issues first aid supplies.
- Ensures that proper documentation is made on training record, for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
- Assists in control of hazardous materials.
- Ensure all work performed is done in a safe manger
- Direct activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions
Qualifications
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License required
- 3 years of Shipping/Receiving experience
- Capable of working independently or under supervision.
- Flexibility to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
Preferred
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and mathematical proficiency.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with the capability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Proficient in interpreting and applying technical data relevant to the position.
Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, and Avionics Shop.
Potential Hazards: Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery.
Protective Equipment Required: Goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, breathing equipment.
