Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director / Manager of Corporate Development to join our team. This individual will play a key role in shaping the company's growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in investment banking (buy and sell side preferred), private equity, or corporate development. An MBA is required, and prior exposure to industrials, particularly the chemical markets, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities :
- M&A Execution : Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
- Market & Industry Analysis : Conduct deep market research and competitive analysis to identify potential targets and assess industry trends, with a focus on the chemical and broader industrials sectors.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation : Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and synergy assessments to support deal-making and strategic initiatives.
- Due Diligence : Lead and coordinate due diligence efforts, working cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, and commercial teams to assess risks and opportunities.
- Strategic Planning : Support corporate strategy initiatives by identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities, partnerships, and capital allocation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with external advisors, investment banks, private equity firms, and industry leaders to stay informed on potential deal opportunities.
- Integration Planning : Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless post-merger integration and realization of strategic value.
