About the Role
Join our team as a Drafter/CAD Support and play an essential role in creating and maintaining accurate technical drawings for a variety of projects. In this position, you will develop working drawings, update CAD designs, and ensure that all documentation reflects accurate details and project requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate working drawings from SME sketches, marked-up prints, and calculations.
• Conduct site investigations to verify existing conditions and ensure drawings reflect accurate details, tolerances, and dimensions.
• Create and update AutoCAD drawings, transcribing information from original documents, codes, and manuals.
• Maintain and organize as-built drawings, new designs, and project documentation.
• Prepare preliminary sketches, single-line diagrams, and detailed project drawings using CAD software.
• Utilize technical resources, automated databases, and specifications for research and analysis.
• Assist with presentations by preparing drawings, mounting visuals, and setting up display materials.
• Revise and create design drawings for electrical, electronic, and structural projects, including wiring layouts, conduit locations, and civil infrastructure.
• Perform additional drafting duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a professional office setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and relevant software to perform support functions in production control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate and resolve complex technical or logistical issues.

Education:

• Associate’s degree in Drafting, CAD Operations, or a related field.

Experience:

• In lieu of an associate’s degree, a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Drafter/CAD Operator.

Other Requirements:

• Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) to obtain required access for this position.
