About the Role

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material flow between departments based on production and shipping schedules.
- Review schedules, track overdue materials, and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Create purchase requisitions and establish delivery schedules according to job priorities.
- Inspect received materials for compliance with specifications and arrange in-plant transfers.
- Maintain and update inventory records, requisitions, and production reports in both manual and computerized systems.
- Calculate material requirements and determine minimum stock levels.
- Arrange for repair and assembly of materials and equipment.
- Transport materials manually or using forklifts (up to 10K) while ensuring compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 and MCO 5100.19F.
- Forklift Certification: Must be qualified and licensed per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional office setting.
- Education: Certification in Supply Management and a valid forklift license with OSHA certification.
- In lieu of certification, a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Material Coordinator/Expeditor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 to support production control functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate and resolve logistical and material-related issues.
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check (NAC) for required access.
