Healthstore improves outcomes for Chronic Care patients who are dependent on multiple daily medications. Our proprietary and vertically integrated technology solutions enable providers to enhance medication adherence through improved access (virtual care and MTM), owned physician network, information sharing, data analytics, and customizable insights.
We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler. This person will play a key role on the core technology team architecting data models from the ground up for our next generation suite of products. This Senior Data Modeler is responsible for understanding and translating business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions. The Senior Data Modeler will work closely with development teams to implement data modeling solutions to streamline and support enterprise information management.
We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical, and critical thinking skills. The person must be a team player and excel in a Billion dollar starts-up like work environment with focus on development and support of new data products.
Your Role
- Analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models.
- Evaluate, and document existing data systems.
- Work with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Review modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
- Implement data strategies and developing logical/physical data models.
- Translating physical data models to DDLs for deployments.
- Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects
- Update and optimize local and metadata models.
- Evaluate existing data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data systems.
- Define, document, and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, and best practices.
- Document and support best practices in data product development and adhere to HIPAA, Privacy and Security guidelines
- Partner with business analysts, solution architect and development team in order to fully understand product requirements and configure the Azure database environments which meet these requirements.
- Mentor, coach and share knowledge with other team members throughout the technology organization.

- Have experience modeling for healthcare systems.
- Experience in the design and modeling of transactional databases is required.
- Experience in building conceptual, logical, and physical models in Erwin, Draw.io, Idera ER/Studio, Visio, or Oracle Designer required.
- Advanced knowledge in Entities, Attribute types, Cardinality, Relationships, ER Notations, Normalization and Denormalization techniques, etc. are required.
- Knowledge in specific normalization modeling techniques for OLTP required and Dimensional Modeling (Star vs. Snowflake), etc. is a plus.
- Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server Databases or Azure SQL.
- Skilled in defining database requirements documents and translating these requirements into ER Diagrams.
