Assistant Project Manager – Tenant Construction

Oversee activities concerned with the design, permitting and construction of tenant improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with new tenants to ensure that the construction of their improvements meets the Company’s standards.
- Provide and enforce building procedures for all contractors including sub-contractors including but not limited to hours of operations, attire, waste removal, construction procedures, etc.
- Work as a team with leasing and property management to accelerate dealmaking and ensure seamless delivery for tenants.
- Monitor tenant buildout progress and prompt tenants if they are not meeting critical milestones.
- Review and approve preliminary and final construction documents.
- Confer with leadership, contractors, building departments and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Conduct necessary site visits and reports, monitor project quality control, and approve construction applications for payment.
- Coordinate with Tenants’ vendors during construction.
- Secure project construction close-out documentation including, as-built documents, list of finishes and sub-contractors and prepare final project reconciliation.
- Prepare and administer building rules and regulations as they relate to Tenant Improvements and commercial alterations and OSHA Guidelines.
- Other duties as directed by leadership.
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus
