What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager - OEM/Industrial position at Ashcroft Brand?
Part of the N.A. OEM Direct Sales Team, leading all internal related activities in support of Key/Strategic/Large OEM Opportunities. Keeping customer specific opportunities / projects on schedule according to customer timeline. Providing timely and value-added communication with consistent follow-up involving respective TM and customer up to receipt of initial order. Annual goals directly related to the New Business goals for the N.A. OEM Direct Team. Set the industry standard for customer-facing information-proposals, elements of. Develop OEM technical support competency for targeted products / applications. Coordinate activities with Ashcroft affiliates for N.A. based active opportunities involving potential Global Locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluation of inquiries to determine technical and commercial solution viability.
- Develop and lead the plan and associated activities necessary to win opportunities, new business.
- Effective use of the CES Process.
- Opportunity updates, communication and interaction with OEM Direct Sales Team, Customer, Engineering, Product Management etc. for efficient project execution.
- Monthly / Ad-hoc reporting of Open Opportunities / Projects.
- Develop complete knowledge of Ashcroft products & capabilities including Nagano -Keiki pressure sensing technology. Available solutions via Ashcroft affiliates and manufacturing partners.
- Contribute to website, content, marketing, new product development initiatives in support of OEM growth goals.
- Travel with OEM Direct Sales Team and targeted Tradeshow participation, as needed.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE AND/OR ABILITIES CONSISTENTLY REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years of successful technical sales support, project management.
- Broad pressure & temperature measurement instrument knowledge
- Capitalize on previous successes at related customers & similar applications.
- Lead support activity / Project (Opportunity) Management for Direct Territory Managers related to winning new OEM customers;
- Technical and application support.
- Developing compliance matrices, compiling technical & support documents.
- Pricing and margin calculations.
- Prototype specification, vendor interaction when appropriate.
- Commercial details defined when applicable (NRE charges, sample orders, blanket order conditions etc.).
- Lead / participate customer conference calls & visits.
- Interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, Test Lab, QC Departments etc. as necessary.
- Quality First: Plan & execute for success, timely and reliable work, integrity combined with efficiency.
- Multi-Task: Can handle and prioritize tasks (e-mail, phone calls, project related activity etc.) while maintaining a professional and upbeat attitude.
