Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for the organization
- Weekly payroll, AP, and AR and management of cash flow
- Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Process journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Utilize accounting software to input and track financial transactions
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Requirements:
- Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices as well as cost accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Quickbooks or similar programs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliations
- Familiarity with journal entries and financial statement preparation
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
