Position Overview : We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our medical team. As the Medical Provider, you will assess and evaluate the delivery of psychiatric and physical care to clients in the program, ensuring that the services provided are in accordance with company policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, philosophy, objectives, and mission statement. This role is integral in delivering comprehensive medical care to our patients, focusing on substance abuse disorders, detoxification processes, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing evidence-based interventions and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
- Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.
- Provide ongoing patient education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
- Work closely with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including confidentiality and HIPAA.
- Participate in continuous education, staff meetings, and case reviews to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in addiction medicine.
- Handle medical emergencies and provide appropriate care as needed. Schedule :
