What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator/Shop Foreman position at Ashland Ag Systems?
We are seeking a shop foreman with fabrication experience to create custom components for our projects. Components range from structural steel to rebar assemblies. Majority of work is done in our shop. There may be times needed to travel to the construction site to fabricate.
Here are the other duties as shop foreman
- Shipping and receiving
- Maintain inventory
- General mechanic work (oil changes, part replacement, etc.)
- Coordinate with installation crews on needed materials
- Picking up materials at vendors as needed
Here are the preferred skills for the position:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Welding & fabrication skills
- Knowledge of shear, press brake, bandsaw and iron worker
- General mechanical experience
- General hydraulics experience
- Operate forklifts
