Job: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

• Shift: 8 Hour Days
• Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of test results through proper sample handling and equipment maintenance.
• Follow standard operating procedures and comply with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide patient care insights.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with industry advancements.
• Adhere to all relevant laboratory standards and practices.

Requirement:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• Certification: Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
• Experience: Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,700.00 - $2,000.00 per week
