Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviewing, and selection processes.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support ongoing recruitment efforts.
- Facilitate job fairs, community outreach, and build relationships with external recruiting sources.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into the organization.
- Ensure new hires complete all necessary documentation and have a clear understanding of company policies and expectations.
- Provide training and resources for new hires on organizational culture, benefits, and workplace expectations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Support conflict resolution, address employee grievances, and mediate as necessary to maintain a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and open communication.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Regularly audit and maintain employee files, ensuring timely updates and adherence to organizational standards.
- Prepare and submit HR reports as needed for compliance and internal tracking.
- Assist in the development and administration of HR programs such as performance evaluations, training, and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and ensure proper enrollment and updates.
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster trust.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
