Purpose at Ashley
The Customer Pick Up associate is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the staging orders at the dock in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment with accuracy to ensure a smooth and reliable experience with our customers.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound and outbound calls from customers, store representatives, concerns
- Face to face interactions with customers
- Running reports to review customer pick up data
- Accurately pulls product from the warehouse for same-day pick-up
- Setting up appointments for pick-up
- Operates a PIV forklift
- Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
- Quality-inspect products for customer pick up
- Maintains a clean and debris-free warehouse floor
- FEDEX, RF scanner, excel, AOM
- Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
- Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
