Vice President Network Design and Optimization

Position Overview

The Vice President of Network Design and Optimization will lead strategic initiatives to develop and implement data-driven solutions that optimize our global network infrastructure. This role will focus on creating an agile, efficient, and customer-centric Distribution and Transportation network that enables seamless delivery of products and services across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute comprehensive network optimization strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing network design solutions
• Partner with executive leadership to define and achieve operational excellence goals
• Create and maintain strategic roadmaps for network enhancement initiatives

Network Design & Analytics

• Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and modeling
• Oversee network simulation and optimization studies
• Design and implement network configurations that balance service levels, cost, and efficiency
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure network performance and optimization opportunities

Innovation & Technology

• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance network capabilities
• Lead digital transformation initiatives related to network optimization
• Oversee the development of predictive analytics and machine learning solutions
• Drive continuous improvement through technology adoption

Customer Experience

• Ensure network design supports optimal customer service levels
• Develop strategies to meet evolving customer expectations
• Create solutions that enable omnichannel fulfillment capabilities
• Monitor and improve last-mile delivery performance

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field
• 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management or network optimization
• Proven track record of leading large-scale network transformation initiatives
• Strong background in data analytics and statistical modeling
• Experience with supply chain optimization tools and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in related field
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications
• International supply chain experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Strong project management background
