Manager, Accessory Category
What Will You Do?
The Accessory Category Manager will source domestic and international accents based on the Company's need to keep us trend forward and competitive in the industry. Responsibilities Research future trends and trends in the marketplace by doing online research, retail shopping and wholesale shopping; provide recommendation to retail and sales management. Communicate with management and retail business partners on their needs for future market development. Work with furniture development teams to coordinate accessory development. Compile all development requests into a presentation, complete with inspiration, images, specification and target pricing. Provide the presentation to pertinent suppliers. Work with domestic and international vendors to develop samples. Collaborate with the vendors to make modifications to the development as needed. Communicate with the international sourcing team on necessary forms; validate shipping, images, target pricing and other information to ensure item information is updated and accurate. Follow up samples for market to ensure all introductions ship on-time and collaborate with Finance to ensure costing is completed to meet market deadlines. Work as a team to assign names and sku numbers to new introductions; provide information to the legal department for approval. Recommend wholesale prices based on competitive like-items in the marketplace; collaborate with vendor to negotiate pricing and/or make decision to drop item if needed.

What do you need?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising, Fashion or equivalent work experience
- 5 years' experience in assortment planning, merchandising and/or product planning Interior Design knowledge with a good eye for color and strong attention to detail
