Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the job site.
Duties
- Construction activities, including carpentry, masonry, and plumbing tasks.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and assisting with demolition work as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred. Apartment Maintenance and apartment turnover experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.
