Ashtead Technology are looking for a Regional HR Coordinator to join our team in Houston to help drive HR excellence across our US facilities. You will serve as the liaison between the UK and US, being the first point of contact for all HR queries in the region, providing first line generalist advice on terms and conditions of employment and HR policies & procedures.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
- Generalist HR – supporting the employee journey through onboarding & offboarding, ensuring employee files on HRIS are up to date, conducting background checks & drug screening, reviewing, and developing HR policies and procedures, assisting with people metrics, providing advice on absence management, and supporting organisational change.
- Payroll – with the HR Manager, partner with Finance and outsourced providers to deliver an effective payroll service and assist in all payroll related activities for the region.
- Strategy - work in close partnership with the HR Manager and wider HR team to prepare, drive and embed the people strategy, assisting with the delivery of business wide HR projects as required.
- Learning & Development – engaging with the central L&D team to champion learning and ensure regional training is completed in a timely manner.
- Talent Acquisition – partnering with the central talent acquisition team to run a smooth and efficient recruitment processes across the region.

- Proven experience in a HR Coordinator or HR administrative role (experience as part of a global HR team desirable, but not essential)
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practice within the US

- A team player, keen to take on additional responsibility and lend a hand when needed.
