What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainee Mould Shop Technician position at Ashtead Technology?
What you'll be doing:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Mould Shop Technician to join our team in Houston. You will receive full training and development to become proficient in operating and maintaining moulding machines, supporting production processes, and ensuring the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
As Trainee Mould Shop Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, soldering, cleaning, labelling and testing of all cable assemblies, subsea tails and connectors. You will continually maintain cable and connector stock levels, assist in producing cable test reports and assist in using the moulding machines.
What experience you'll bring:
Having a positive and pro-active attitude will be key to helping you succeed, here’s some other things that will help in this role;
- Previous experience in soldering
- Some experience in cable assembly
- Previous experience in a similar industry
Preferred experience but not required:
- Previous experience in cable testing
- Previous experience in cable moulding
