Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales expertise, strategic planning abilities, and project management skills to effectively navigate the competitive landscape.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and building trust in the areas we serve.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assist in Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct presentations and meetings to share about Ashton.

- Ability to travel as needed

Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles.
- Effecient in Microsoft Word, Excel and letter writing
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in industrial/ commercial construction project management, demonstrating the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
- Familiarity with construction market analysis techniques to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
