We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the design, architecture, implementation, and support of cutting-edge infrastructure systems. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a robust background in enterprise virtualization, network infrastructures, system administration, and a passion for technological advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced virtualization infrastructures, integrating with technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, and a range of server/infrastructure technologies.
- Perform systems administration across various control technologies, including directory services, monitoring, and patching.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure robust protection of data, systems, and physical assets.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing strategic recommendations for future integration.
- Manage and resolve infrastructure-related issues while maintaining strong customer relationships and service levels.
- Lead projects, provide executive-level status reports, and work with vendors on procurement and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in virtualization engineering, specifically with VMware stacks.
- Experience with technologies such as Splunk, BeyondTrust, Cohesity, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of network architectures, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Proficient in evaluating security configurations and establishing best practices.
- Industry certifications in VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, Cyber Security, Project Management, or Service Management are preferred.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in an industrial setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work both remotely and on-site, with travel as required.
