Provide management with financial information and analysis as well as other monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting. This position will work proactively with the Finance Manager to assist with providing business/financial information to the team.

Position Overview
Provide management with financial information and analysis as well as other monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting. This position will work proactively with the Finance Manager to assist with providing business/financial information to the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sales margin calculations on sales and inventory homes.
- Update backlog margin reports.
- Manage the lot takedown process and option payments.
- Support preparation of project proformas, annual plans and other financial projections.
- Control costs by analyzing budgets and actuals, establishing procedures and implementing corrective actions.
- Support the central accounting team for the monthly close process.
- Assist with land development budgets and perform quarterly land transfer analysis.
- Assist with construction indirect budgets and perform quarterly analysis.
- Prepare reports for monthly Construction Variance and Warranty spend.
- Perform continuous improvement of financial processes.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, and provide decision support on projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related degree.
- At least one year of accounting/finance experience.
- Mix of public and industry experience preferred.
- Home building industry experience in Accounting, Finance or FP&A roles preferred.
- Experience with accounting control procedures and generally accepted accounting principles and cost accounting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel.
