Position Overview: Works to meet the technical needs of the Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes employee population, under the supervision of the IT Systems Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to the following)
- Provides technical support to employees throughout the company
- Evaluates employee needs, defines technical problems, and works with management to determine and implement solutions
- Performs ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall system performance and effectiveness.
- Studies and projects resource requirements including software, services, equipment, and facilities, and makes recommendations to management
- Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Requires a strong understanding of both Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems as well as Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Intune or Tanium for endpoint management is a plus
- Basic understanding of IT security principles with a willingness to learn endpoint security services.
- Experience with managing small office networks is a plus
- 1-3 years of related experience
Typical Physical and Mental Demands
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
- Employees in the position are required to be able to hear and have vision sufficient to utilize all office equipment.
- Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard office equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion to move and ship equipment.

Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is typically sedentary in nature, but some walking and standing maybe required.
