Purchasing Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of raw materials to support the manufacturing and assembly processes of the company’s products. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic purchasing plans while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will oversee a team, manage purchasing activities, and collaborate with internal departments to meet the company’s needs for materials, equipment, and services.to oversee our procurement processes and ensure that our supply chain operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of sourcing, contract management, and inventory management systems. This role is crucial in maintaining optimal inventory levels while fostering relationships with suppliers to achieve the best possible terms for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs for equipment, materials, products, etc.
• Prepare and present market conditions and merchandise cost reports.
• Oversee daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans
• Implementing purchasing systems
• Reviewing bids
• Resolving vendor issues
• Adhering to budget guidelines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related filed preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Proficiency in CRM and inventory management software preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Research and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• 3 - 10 years' of purchasing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
