What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Mentor [Volunteer] position at Asian American LEAD (AALEAD)?
BECOME A MENTOR TODAY! We connect youth ages 8-18 with adults to form relationships that provide youth with a safe avenue to express their feelings and frustrations, improve their self-esteem, foster positive self-identity, give youth opportunities to explore new interests and develop hobbies, and motivate them to pursue higher education. We currently have a specific need for Mentors in Montgomery County.

Mentor Qualifications:
- Over the age of 21
- Pass background and reference checks
- Have lifestyle compatible with mentoring for at least one year
- Commitment to making a difference in a young person's life
- Located in DMV Area
