ACRS seeksa full-time Counselor II in our Recovery Services department who can provide culturally competent counseling and case management services for members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who are in the process of recovery with attention to cultural relevance, competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
COMPETITIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES :
8 hours of vacation accrued from day 1, available to use after 6 months of employment
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in social science with three (3) years' experience in direct treatment; OR
Associate's degree in social science with seven (7) years' experience in direct treatment; AND
Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
WORKING CONDITIONS : Regularly required to walk; use hands and arms to reach and operate objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Some work will be performed offsite (e.g. home visits or external meetings). The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
