Job Description:
Primary Function:
The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports that describe survey work related to earthwork, concrete paving, and asphalt paving. Field Engineers will set up and operate total stations to accurately measure angles, distances, and elevations. This includes positioning the total station at known points, collecting precise data, and setting survey stakes to provide alignment and elevation information for grading and paving operations.
The ideal candidate will possess people skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, outstanding work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage unexpected challenges, resolve conflicts, and adapt to changing conditions.
