Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and punctuation.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Hybrid Role-
Remote 3 days and in the office 2 (Tuesdays and Wednesday).
Position Summary :
The role of the Corporate Governance Coordinator (Legal Support Assistant) is to improve operational effectiveness and efficiencies in the Legal Department. The Corporate Governance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the operational support of the department by managing contracts and policies, supporting department members, coordinating training and presentations, and ensuring deadlines and objectives are managed and met.
This is a hybrid role that will be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday.
Responsibilities :
Manages the contracts management system, including monitoring, updating, processing, and routing agreements through the designated workflow.
Assist with special projects as requested by the department. (Internal Controls, Insurance, Business License / s).
Manages Business License Hub to ensure all licenses and permits are kept current and files designated state and federal annual reports as required.
Performs administrative and office support activities including mailing, faxing, photocopying, scanning, word processing, creating spreadsheets, filing documents, and recordkeeping as needed.
Coordinates training, including setting the schedule, reserving resources and preparing training materials for the department.
Manages Company policies, including drafting and revising policies as needed to stay current or meet new demands or needs of the company.
Research into matters related to claims, bankruptcies, demands and other legal issues.
Manages liens and notices of non-payment from suppliers to prevent further legal action or liability.
Monitors and reports on department KPIs.
Prepare monthly reports of activities as needed.
