Pay Rate Range : $40 / hr - $48 / hr on w2
Job Description :
The chosen candidate will help with reviews of security provisions in 3rd party contracts. Working with members of the legal, procurement, business, and compliance teams, the candidate will review new and existing contracts with 3rd parties to ensure that appropriate security language is built into legal agreements. The candidates will be expected to familiarize themselves with security posture to educate and defend this posture to external parties in both verbal and written forms. There will be a strong emphasis on staying current on the details of the information security environment, cross-collaboration, and relationship-building both within and outside of the security organization and taking the initiative to drive complex negotiations over the finish line.
Sharp analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team (as well as independently as needs dictate) are required. The ability to quickly pivot as priorities change and a strong sense of ownership and accountability are critical to success in the role.
In this role, you will :
- Participate in contract review / negotiations on information security
- Guide in conjunction with legal / privacy teams on security topics and draft information security responses
- Redline complex agreements and provide meaningful commentary as appropriate for internal and external stakeholders
- Craft alternate verbiage that aligns with Groups security posture and be able to defend the posture and explain in terms appropriate to the audience
- Support compliance initiatives and projects as requested
- Understand the business organizational structure and culture to best attain objectives and results
