Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design and proficiency in various design software. The Steel Detailer will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver high-quality detailing work that meets industry standards.
Duties
- Develop detailed steel fabrication drawings using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Draft shop drawings and assembly drawings for steel components.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with 3ds Max, Sketchup, Grasshopper, or similar design software is a plus.
- Strong drafting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles related to steel structures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
