We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Barclays Center Arena team in Brooklyn, NY! The intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to various projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : What You Will Do
- Security Operations :
- Support day-to-day security operations and assist in monitoring facilities to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of security policies, procedures, and programs.
- Risk Assessment & Management :
- Conduct risk assessments and help identify potential security threats.
- Collaborate on strategies to mitigate risks and improve security measures.
- Data Collection & Reporting :
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to incidents, breaches, or other security-related events.
- Maintain and update security logs and records.
- Training & Awareness :
- Assist in organizing and delivering security training sessions for employees.
- Develop awareness materials and presentations to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Compliance & Audits :
- Support internal and external security audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Help ensure adherence to data protection and privacy guidelines.
- Technical Assistance :
- Assist in monitoring security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control) and recommend improvements.
- Provide support for implementing new security technologies and tools.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with various departments to address security-related concerns and develop tailored solutions.
- Support crisis management planning and response initiatives.
