Description

Position Summary

Provide leadership and facilitate order planning activities to achieve service-level goals for ASP Distribution Operations. Serve as the primary liaison between Distribution Operations and the Customer Success Team. Actively participate in customer service meetings to address order issues and concerns, share product availability updates, and review orders at risk of not shipping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Foster and drive a culture of safety and inclusion.
  • Establish and uphold a standard of excellence across the team.
  • Lead and manage customer order planning, including releasing customer orders, manual scheduling activities, and daily planning functions.
  • Review and analyze management reports related to product availability and customer order deficiencies, providing actionable recommendations to the manager.
  • Prioritize tasks with supply planners to minimize backorders and achieve delivery performance targets.
  • Effectively communicate delivery information to customer service liaisons and collaborate with 3rd-party customer service representatives (CSRs), supply planners, and internal liaisons.
  • Process and schedule orders requiring manual intervention.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Expertise in managing customer order releases, manual scheduling, and daily planning activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate management reports and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Effective prioritization of tasks to eliminate backorders and achieve delivery targets.
  • Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Competence in handling manual scheduling processes for specialized orders.

Physical Demands:

This role may require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking on a level surface throughout the day. Occasional lifting of documents or office materials may be needed. Activities may include reaching above shoulder height or below the waist. The position may occasionally involve lifting heavier items. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily based in a standard office environment with ambient temperatures, lighting, and typical office equipment. Adjustments will be made as necessary to accommodate individual needs.
