About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Welfare Program Manager to join our team at the ASPCA's Recovery & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our veterinary services team, you will oversee the daily operations of the program, providing high-quality clinical care to animals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly oversee three veterinarians and a Manager, Veterinary Services Staff, while indirectly supervising four Licensed Veterinary Technicians, four Veterinary Assistants, and one Manger, Medical Support
- Work closely with other senior directors to develop and implement comprehensive programs and procedures that promote animal welfare and adhere to regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary college, be licensed or license eligible to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York, and possess at least 5 years of small animal veterinary experience.

- Fear Free Veterinary Certified, or completed within 60 days or hire required
