Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the property, leasing terms, and rental rates
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify applicant information
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting unit inspections
- Address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Collect rent payments and enforce lease terms
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles preferred
- Knowledge of property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is a plus
- Strong negotiation and sales skills to effectively close leasing deals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and prospects
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or amenities to tenants
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
