Aspen Careers is working to identify candidates for the following career opportunity.

Litigation Associate - Utility Regulation (Columbus, OH)

This role involves representing public utilities in rulemaking, ratemaking, and complaint cases, advising competitive retail energy providers on compliance, and assisting with due diligence for projects and transactions.

Qualifications :

  • 2–5 years of experience in public utility law (Ohio or other states).
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Admitted to practice law in Ohio.

Preferred Attributes :

  • Emotional intelligence, humility, and team collaboration.
  • Experience with legal drafting (applications, motions, discovery, settlements).
  • Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
