DESCRIPTION:
Operates process equipment, both the blend tank system and the hot fill system. Ensures smooth and consistent operation of equipment to ensure product is manufactured and packaged in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. Each responsibility is performed in accordance with health and safety, quality, and food safety procedures. To ensure all activities are handled in accordance with Finlay’s business philosophy, ethics, policies, and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with quality department to inspect raw materials.
- Ensures equipment is operating effectively, reporting, and communicating deficiencies with the production supervisor.
- Works with the lead material handler to ensure proper raw materials are staged and prepped for production.
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities as well as easily adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: [List the critical details of this section from the job description.]
- Required to stand or walk up to 100% of duty time.
- Requires some bending, stooping and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift or push/pull weights upwards of 50 pounds.
