Job Description Summary
The Marketer is an integral part of the company’s business development and marketing department. Under the direction of the Marketing Director the job responsibilities include the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Marketing Plans:
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create comprehensive marketing plans and strategies.
- Identify potential marketing resources (physicians, hospitals, long term care facilities, group homes etc..)
Referral Source Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and other potential referral sources.
- Educate referral sources about the benefits and services offered by the hospice program.
Community Outreach:
- Represent the hospice program at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
- Organize and lead informational sessions or workshops for healthcare professionals and community members.
Market Analysis:
- Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and patient demographics.
- Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
Marketing Collateral:
- Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Ensure that all materials adhere to branding guidelines and convey the hospice's mission and values effectively.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage the hospice program's online presence, including the website and social media accounts.
- Create and optimize digital marketing campaigns to reach a wider audience.
Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and track marketing performance metrics, such as referral rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports to the Director of Marketing and senior leadership.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with federal and state regulations, including anti-kickback laws and HIPAA.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare marketing regulations.
Budget Management:
- Assist in budget planning and management for marketing initiatives.
- Allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Minimum of [2] years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing and referral processes.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
