JOB TITLE: Recruitment Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager
SUMMARY: A recruitment specialist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and evaluating potential candidates to fill open positions within a company by sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, screening applications, and ultimately matching the best fit for the job role, ensuring a smooth hiring process through communication with both the candidate and hiring manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities & Workflow Optimization:
- Candidate sourcing:
- Actively search for qualified candidates through various channels like job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Job posting creation:
- Craft compelling job descriptions that accurately reflect the role and attract relevant applicants.
- Candidate screening:
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates based on their skills and experience.
- Interviewing:
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' suitability for the role.
- Background checks:
- Initiate and manage background checks and reference verifications.
- Offer negotiation:
- Present job offers to selected candidates, including salary and benefits details.
- Onboarding support:
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Talent market analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends and salary benchmarks to inform recruitment strategies.
- Relationship building:
- Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders within the organization.
- Applicant tracking system (ATS) management:
- Utilize ATS platforms to manage the recruitment process efficiently.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Prepare Recruitment Materials:
- Creation of New Hire Packets based on Job
- Create and Coordinate New Hire Onboarding Schedule
- 2-week Onboarding Schedule
- 6 weeks of employee follow-up
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in recruitment or related roles preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sourcing and networking abilities
- Proven interviewing and assessment techniques
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technology
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self Motivated, able to work independently
- Technically proficient in platforms such as Google Suite(Docs, Forms, Sheets), Gmail(email, calendar), Paylocity(Employee/HR Platform), RingCentral/Glip, and Caretend(EMR system) experience is a plus.
