Overview
We are looking to hire an experienced customer service representative (CSR) working with both commercial and personal lines service and sales experience. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will engage with customers through various channels, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional manner.
- Advise current customers by reviewing existing customers' coverage and look for appropriate cross-sell opportunities.
- Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers.
- Handle outbound calling to follow up on customer concerns or feedback.
- Utilize office equipment and computer systems efficiently to manage customer interactions.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve service delivery.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
- 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License
- Strong organizational skills
- Motivated, professional, reliable and goal oriented
- Demonstrate initiative
- Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
- Must have excellent customer service and strong sales skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining quality service standards.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
