Position Summary
The Director of Marketing Operations is a transformational leader responsible for driving creative efficiency, workback calendaring, overseeing marketing processes, tools, budgeting, cross-functional collaboration, and bridges the gap between marketing and all other departments. Works closely with BU Marketing Leadership across all divisions. Additionally, this role collaborates cross-functionally with the digital & e-commerce teams, retail team, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies. Position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and oversees a team of approximately 3-5 marketing professionals.
The Director of Marketing Operations also has direct responsibility for overseeing marketing initiatives that support the sales organization.
Pay range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. All exempt roles are incentive eligible.
Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
- Continuously identifies and implements improvements to enhance marketing operations.
- Fosters a culture of efficiency, accountability, and innovation within the marketing team.
- Leads the integration and transformation of existing systems to the Asana project management system and FIGMA design system to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.
- Leads project management efforts to ensure marketing initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Oversees digital marketing content coordination, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and cross-functional teams.
- Identifies, implements, and optimizes tools that support marketing efficiency and performance.
- Drives adoption and training initiatives for Asana and FIGMA across marketing and creative teams.
- Establishes and maintains streamlined workflows to improve cross-functional collaboration and execution speed.
- Continuously evaluates and refines marketing operations to enhance efficiency.
- Be the primary point of contact for the sales organization for their marketing / creative and copy needs
- Manages marketing budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Drives cost efficiencies while maintaining high-impact marketing initiatives.
- Manages contracts with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversees procurement and negotiations to align with marketing and business objectives.
- Develops performance dashboards and KPIs to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives.
- Provides data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
