Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the hiring process, including job postings, resume screening, and candidate interviews.
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Manage offer letters and background check processes.
- Facilitate onboarding to ensure a smooth new-hire experience.
- Act as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
- Support conflict resolution and employee concerns.
- Contribute to engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and understanding plan options.
- Help with benefits administration and related processes.
- Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee records and timekeeping.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records to meet compliance standards.
- Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in performance management processes, offering guidance to managers and employees.
- Support training and development efforts to promote employee growth.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend professional development opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Familiarity with employment laws and regulations (FMLA, FLSA, EEO).
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- High level of confidentiality and compliance awareness.
- Proficiency in HRIS & ATS systems.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Full Time:
- Monday – Friday 7AM – 45PM
