What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant / SolidWorks Drafter position at Aspen Personnel Service?

A prominent manufacturing company serving the construction industry in Spokane has teamed up with Aspen Personnel Service to recruit a Sales Assistant / SolidWorks Drafter for their team. This role collaborates closely with the sales department to produce precise technical drawings essential for the fabrication of the company’s products and structures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and values both high-quality work and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze and interpret plans for underground utilities, custom castings, and related projects.
Create and develop drawings from initial concepts, sketches, and detailed specifications.
Generate complete documentation and drawing sets tailored to current projects and team requirements.
Review and validate design drawings to ensure alignment with specifications and project data.
Travel between locations as needed to coordinate with team members.
Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Proficiency in creating technical drawings with SolidWorks.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
